Our Leadership Team
Michael Thompson
President & CEO
Michael brings over 20 years of commercial banking experience to Golden Prairie Group. He previously served as VP of Commercial Lending at two major Canadian banks before founding our company. Michael holds an MBA from Queen's University and is active in the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce.
Sarah Martinez
VP of Lending
Sarah leads our commercial lending team with 15 years of experience in business finance. She specializes in SBA lending and equipment financing, having helped over 200 businesses secure funding. Sarah is a graduate of Carleton University's Sprott School of Business and holds several banking certifications.
David Chen
VP of Operations
David oversees our cash management and treasury services division. With expertise in international banking and trade finance, he helps businesses optimize their financial operations. David previously worked for Export Development Canada and holds a CPA designation.
Jennifer Walsh
Senior Relationship Manager
Jennifer manages relationships with our largest commercial clients and brings deep expertise in cash flow analysis and business financial planning. She has 12 years of experience in commercial banking and is known for her personalized approach to client service.
